In a quiet corner of the Cobb School's courtyard, surrounded by the lush greenery and majestic forest, a new bench has been placed in the Cobb School courtyard as a symbol of the deep gratitude and appreciation we have for Karen Huff's service to Cobb Mountain Elementary School.
We honored this remarkable woman last Friday for the nurturing force that she's been in the public eye and behind the scenes for over three decades. Karen, our beloved school secretary, had dedicated 32 years of her life to the service of this institution, shaping it into the warm and welcoming place it has become.
Karen has shown kindness, dedication, and unwavering support of our Cobb students and has made a profound difference in the lives of countless students. For 32 years, Karen has been the smiling face that greeted us each morning and the gentle voice that soothed our worries. She has been the guiding light in the administrative office, the one who always knew where to find the lost textbooks, the misplaced permission slips, and the forgotten lunches.
This bench has been placed in the heart of our school and will be a special spot for students to gather, reflect, and embrace the incredible spirit of Cobb School. And it is only fitting that it bears Karen's name, a symbol of the warmth and compassion she has brought to our school.
