This Week's Important Information (May 6th - May 10th)
State Testing (May 6th-10th): 3rd-6th graders will be taking the Smarter Balanced tests on computers this week. These tests are used to measure student achievement and help teachers improve instruction.
Here's how you can support your child during testing:
Ensure they attend school on time each day.
Make sure they eat a healthy breakfast before the test.
Encourage them to get a good night's sleep throughout the week.
Field Day Planning Meeting (Tuesday, May 7th) 5:30 pm in the Minnie Cannon Library
Bus Schedules:
Links to the bus schedules (AM, PM, and Minimum Day) have been provided, available on the school's or district website or by contacting the school office.
Upcoming School Events:
State Testing (May 6th-10th): 3rd-6th graders will take the Smarter Balanced tests on computers during this week.
Safari West Trip (May 17th): Mackey and Hie's classes will be going on a field trip to Safari West.
Open House (May 23rd): There will be an open house for parents and students from 5:00-6:00 pm.
No School (May 24th-27th): Memorial Day weekend - school will be closed.
Charles Schwartz Museum Trip (May 31st): Zolensky and Pimentel's classes will be going on a field trip to the Charles Schwartz museum.
Field Day (June 4th): Field Day for all students will be from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Graduation Ceremonies:
5th & 6th Grade Promotion (June 5th): Ceremony at 5:30 pm on the field, followed by a reception in the cafeteria.
TK/Kindergarten Promotion (June 6th)
Last Day of School (June 7th): Awards assembly will be held on the last day of school.
